Academy of Play

We are first time parents and we were so worried about our 18 month old son being at a daycare. We could not have chosen a better place. The teachers and staff are amazing. They have been so helpful and patient with us during our sons adjustment to daycare. They give us updates all day and our son is so happy when he is there. The activities and interactive learning are so fun for him. We would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a daycare.

I did an obsessive amount of research when choosing a daycare/preschool for my son. First and foremost I wanted a school where he felt safe and loved. I also wanted his creativity to be nurtured and for him to really enjoy going to school. And finally, it was important to us he learned Spanish. Academy of Play is all these things. The director, Ms. Cinthya greets us every morning and is so responsive. The teachers are super loving and creative. And, we get several picture updates every day. We are very happy at Academy of Play.

Our family has been beyond thrilled with Academy of Play. After spending time at another lovely facility, we were looking for smaller class sizes. We got WAY more than we could have ever asked for. The director and teachers are so attentive and caring. Excellent communication especially though the app with updates on meals, activities, sleep and lots of photos. The classrooms are beautiful with lots of enriching toys. The meals are balanced and well planned. My daughter is speaking more Spanish than I could have imagined already. At first I was nervous about Spanish immersion, but I found her English comprehension and sentence structure has grown in leaps in bounds since joining. I am so thankful for this school!

Both of my toddlers attend Academy of Play and they love it! We specifically chose this facility because it was Spanish speaking and focused on play based learning. I feel like both kids have learned so much in the few months since they've started and they have great affection for their teachers and the director. I love knowing they have a safe and loving environment to be in while my husband and I are at work.

As a first time mom, I was very nervous about the prospect of leaving my baby in someone elses care let alone have that care take place outside my home. We attended the open house and my daughter, who takes some time to warm up, was immediately comfortable. As was I. I highly recommend Academy of Play. The facility is clean and child focused. Her teacher, support teachers and director genuinely care about my daughter. My husband and I are thrilled with the care she is receiving. My daughter isnt just being cared for, she is learning and growing everyday. A few bonuses: shes learning Spanish and she is steps away from my home. We are blessed to have such high quality care and education so close to home for my daughter.
