We came to Marissa with no experience in having to deal with legal matters. She was patient and generous with her time throughout the process. Not knowing how the legal system works, you can imagine how stressed we were receiving a notice from the court threatening to levy all our accounts and assets. She put us at ease and gave us a "101" on all the legal terminology, then walked us through the process. It all worked out in the end and we are so very grateful. Marissa is great.  She is smart, patient, pragmatic, and responsive - all good characteristics to have in an attorney.She represented me in a contract dispute with a business owner and his attorney wife.  I knew what they were doing was wrong, but until I had Marissa on my side they were unwilling to listen to reason.With Marissa's counsel we were able to settle the dispute and avoid litigation.Legal troubles are no fun, but refreshingly, Marissa put my interests ahead of her own throughout the entire process.  While I hope I don't need legal help in the future, if I do, I'm calling Walter Legal.Thanks Marisa
