I am an attorney. I thought that I could handle my divorce by myself, but after nearly five years we were no closer to resolving the case than we were at the beginning. Richard is a consummate professional who understands the law and human emotion. He is very intelligent and makes sure you feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Richard spoke specifically to the law when dealing with matters and was able to recite code from the top of his head without reference. Richard acted as a buffer between my Ex-Wife and I and was able to smooth things out for us which got us on an agreeable family plan with support and custody arrangements that worked for both parties.
Hire Richard Freed if you want someone who is compassionate, intelligent and hard working.

Richard Freed is an amazing attorney. Since my first encounter with the man I knew he really cared about my story and very quickly understood what the other party was trying to pull. He sees your side but can also tell you what is typically accepted or not based on his experiences with Judges in the area!
I have had other family law attorneys and, by far, Richard opened my eyes to my rights (physically, legally and financially) pertaining to my son.
Other attorneys had me second guessing and proof reading every line of legal documents for errors but Richard and his staff are thorough and I did not have to doubt their verbiage. Additionally, he has relationships with other attorneys and is highly respected. In my experience, my son's father's attorney stopped trying to intimidate me the moment they read "Law Offices of Richard Freed" was representing me.
You cannot go wrong with Richard. He really understands and takes the time to hear you out and get into your case. He relates to the case on a personal level.
If you get so lucky to have him as your attorney, the last thing you should do is check out his office. It is breath taking.
My review is long over due. I have come to write this multiple times but didn't want to completely sound like a sappy single mother. Richard is the kindest and most down to earth attorney i have ever had the pleasure of working with!
