I have been going to Open Wide La Jolla for a few years now and I have always been absolutely pleased with all of my visits. Staff are friendly, communicative and make visits easy! Dr. Dains is amazing! He has a calming presence and always takes extra time to explain things and provide tips on how to better take care of your teeth. I highly recommend going to Open Wide La Jolla for all your dental needs!

Had my first appointment here today as I was looking for a new dentist since moving to San Diego. Dr. Dains was absolutely phenomenal! He was really helpful in answering questions, thoughtful, and not pushy whatsoever with treatment planning. You really can tell that he cares about his patients!

Small office with great service! The staff is friendly and caring, you will always be greeted with a great smile. The doctor or hygienist are always checking in to make sure you are comfortable with the procedure that is being done. I definitely recommend this dental office

Dr. Dains is awesome. He is not only super knowledgable but also so honest in his work and he knows how to really make you feel comfortable when it comes to a procedure being done or even the price of something that needs to be done. He doesn't try to sell you on everything and anything, he will let you know what is necessary for good dental health and what you can get away without. He is also helpful at advising alternatives to things if certain dental work is not in your budget. When I had an emergency after hours he was quick to not only answer my calls but also continuously followed up to check in on me. Great guy, great team of professionals, great atmosphere. I have recommended a few friends to Dr. Dains over the years all who would agree that they are happy they switched over to him.
