Wellness Dental La Jolla

I had just got out of the Navy in August and realized it was time for me to get a cleaning. Now, I am not one to usually write reviews, but after my pleasant experience here I felt obligated. Upon arrival at the front desk, I was warmly greeted by Kayla and Mariah, and swiftly checked in within a minute. Shortly thereafter, I was escorted to the back for X-rays and to begin my cleaning. I sit down, lay back, look up and there is a TV in the ceiling for me to watch... That was awesome. After watching some HGTV and a good cleaning, I met with Dr. Carpenter, who discussed all the observations he made on my profile and outlined the treatment options he would consider if he were in my shoes. This dentist office is a place who clearly cares about the patient, is very contemporary, and I am beyond grateful to have found this dentist office on my first try.

Everyone is friendly! The hygienists are knowledgeable, professional and efficient. Dr. Carpenter was very personable and works fast but thorough. I truly cannot believe how much work they did on my teeth in the allotted amount of time. Most importantly, the hygienist and dentist are constantly checking in on your comfort level and are willing to take breaks as needed. Everyone goes above and beyond at this office. Very happy!

I metabolize anesthetic very quickly (meaning they need to use more and it wears off quick). I informed my dentist if this, she ignored me and I felt EVERYTHING during my wisdom tooth removal down to the stitches. I will never go here again, made me actively scared of the dentist.
