Veterinary Dental Specialties & Oral Surgery

I can not say enough great things about Dr. Furman and his staff. My family and I were desperate to get our sweet dogs tongue mass removed as it was growing extremely fast and was limiting her eating and breathing. Dr. Furmans staff was able to not only get us in right away but Dr. Furman himself was able to do the surgery the next day following the consultation. The surgery went great and our Sammy has been a happy dog ever since!

Dr. Furman and staff took care of my Lab, Jackson the other day. Being a veterinarian I have a knowing eye. I can't praise Dr. Furman and his staff's client and patient skills enough. I would highly recommend his practice to all of my clients along with anyone else in need of veterinary dental services!

Love this Dental Office. Dr. Furman is great. Very compassionate, responsible and an excellent dentist. Michelle, his assistant is wonderful too. Highly recommend.

I cannot say enough positive things about the entire team and our experience at VDS. We initially visited them in Ventura last year when my dog had a discolored canine tooth which turned out to need a root canal. Hes a big guy with a big fear of the vet so getting him care is stressful for all of us as it is but VDS made it such a smooth process. A year later in a freak collision, he broke that same tooth. Unfortunately the surgeon who we first saw is no longer at the practice but we were seen by Dr. Niemec who provided us with all of the information we needed to know what to expect and again made the entire situation feel manageable. We ended up needing an earlier procedure date so we made the drive down to Irvine. We met Dr. Hernandez for the first time the day of surgery. Yet another VDS surgeon who went above and beyond for our boy (and us). He made sure we felt comfortable with every step and provided education and insight on the procedure. Every single visit weve been met with respect, reassurance, knowledge and results. Again, vet visits of any kind arent an easy thing for our dog but the team has taken the time to really learn about his needs and create an environment where he feels as safe and comfortable as possible, easing all of our worries. I cant imagine leaving him in better hands. Thank you Dr. Hernandez, Dr. Niemec, Michele & staff.

To start, I have never been to this clinic so they could be the best specialists in the area. However, their prices are outrageous. I have been calling around to find quotes for dental cleanings and when I called for a dental cleaning quote from them, I was told baseline for a general cleaning was $1700!!!! That is 3 times the amount of all other vets in orange county providing the same exact services. Cleaning, anesthesia, pain medication, and blood work.
