DO NOT MOVE HERE The Riverhouse apartment complex under AMC ILLEGALLY raised our rent by 10%, when the max amount allowed by the city of Santa Ana is 3% or less, in the year 2023. Upper Managment agreed to pay me the money back ($1898) that they owed me upon move out verbally, but when I asked for it written or via emailnothing. Most likely a move just to get me out and not follow through. Once I told them I will not move out until I am reimbursed, they then went radio silent. I have been here for three weeks and not paid rent, with no eviction notice, pretty weird right? On top of that the apartment leaks every time it rains. Constant plumbing issues and no parking or visitor parking. I am currently pursuing action against them with the city of SA, if anyone currently living here or past resident after December 2021 please reach out and I will connect you with Housing Authority for the City.

They bait with a discount rent for a period of first lease and raise by the hundreds every year.. and charge diff prices to diff tenants in same size apts. And there's no privacy and alot of harassment by the on site property manager @eastide apts

I don't know where to begin with. This is the worst place I have ever rented an apartment. I lived here for 3 years. They will loot your money and never listen to tenants concern. This company is a joke. I wish google had 0 stars option. First, the apartments are really old and are not well maintained. Whenever you have a service request, they will take forever to come to fix it. I literally had roof water leakage in my bedroom for atleast 6 times during the time I lived there. They came after 4 days to just to check. Their maintenance team is very poor. Their locker rooms are very unsafe as well and it was compromised and broken into multiple times which lead to stealing of the important mails of mine as well as other tenants. Second, their online monthly payment is very poor and unorganized. They really need to update that. Moreover, their laundry room is always stinking and very poorly maintained. I have seen roaches all the time over there. Third, after I moved out from the apartment, I called their manager and management 1000 times to talk about my dues but no one answers or are even bother to listen to your concerns, they didn't return my deposit money ever. I have lived at many apartment communities but I have never had this kind of experience ever. I am very disappointed. So please everyone avoid this company and community and DO NOT rent an apartment with them. Horrible overall experience.
