The Management Trust

The Management Trust operations are so broken that they wouldn't even be able to provide services to a Lemonade Stand. If there was an option for a 1/2 star it would be perfect for The Management Trust.

I moved into Herritage at Cadence a little over 2 Years ago. I love my neighbors the community and especially Donna who works the front Reception area at our clubhouse.Donna, always has a smile on her face and is so helpful. When ever I have a question about Events or just basic things going on in my neighborhood, she  takes the time to explain or leads me in the right contacts.I definitely would say Donna is an asset to our community and I'm so happy she is here. I am a home owner. I've only had to interact with the management trust a few times, but they've always helped. Quick response, solutions, & phone calls. Shoutout to Katherine- thanks for all your help.

I want to let other Boards know that you need to review your monthly financials carefully.  Look at the reports in the portal.  If you are not, then you may be doing a disservice to you community.  Each month I find numerous errors that need to be corrected.  It takes time but I will not approve Financials on their face value. The trust that they are correct is lost.  Reports on the portal that would be very helpful do not work or balance to each other.  There seems to be a lack of checks and balances within the Tustin office.  I find it hard to believe that our HOA is the only one having these types of issues.  They range from no communication until after the fact (surprises), homeowner accounts with late fees charged at the wrong amount or duplicate charges, accruals not happening consistently or the wrong amount.  I worked as a Controller for years and would never accept this type of work from my employees.  We all learn from our mistakes, so they are not repeated.  This does not seem to be the case for Mgt Trust.  They definitely have opportunity for improvement, and I hope someone will take action.Melinda R.
