Visited this Dr first time, and he needs to stick to Anesthesia.waited for this appt for 3 months. He talked to me for approximately 5 minutes. Gave me a prescription for cream that I told him I already had, oh and some new pills that I probably will never use. Didnt even look at my knee. Ive been to pain management Dr . All so very professional, spend time with you. They gave me papers to fill out for my information, incomplete, unread just left them in the room, I will assume theyll get thrown out. My concern is how much will Medicare get charged for this hoax visit. My Primary Dr refereed me to a pain management , to get injection on my knee. Dr Shahbazen made every excuse of why hes not giving me an injection on my knee. This office did not have any indication that their pain management. Im am totally upset, and left his office feeling lied to. I will be filing a complaint to my Insurance.

Have to agree with other patients - his staff is not efficient, especially when it comes to setting appts. One would think that would be a priority instead of making people call & call. Most frustrating

The doctor ordered the wrong MRI for me (my lower back, instead of where the pain is- my mid-upper back). I guess most people have lower back pain so he did not pay attention, or just made a simple mistake. But, I specifically explained the issue was NOT my lower back and went over my previous test results of my neck down to my mid back. He still ordered an MRI for my lower back. I noticed the mistake right away and told his assistant. She said she would talk to the doctor and get back to me. She never did. I followed up again. Nothing and no return call. So, I gave up and went for the wrong test anyway (maybe I was missing something). Then, I waited 2 weeks and called twice to get the test results. His assistant left me a message saying there is nothing wrong with me and therefore, I should go see an acupuncturist. Huh? For what? This makes absolutely no sense at all, on so many levels. Of course there is nothing wrong with my lower back, as I had tried to explain multiple times. It's my mid-upper back has had severe degenerative disease for a long time...Not my lower back!!!! I left numerous messages about the issue with no return calls. Their answering machine says for faster service leave a message through the web portal. What web portal?!!! OMG!!! I have been in extreme pain for a long time. It took forever to get the appointment, go and get the wrong test, wait for the wrong results, etc. Fire the assistant already! I'm so done!!!!
