        For all of the years I've been a funeral director serving the Orthodox Communities of LA and Orange Counties, I had never heard about or been to St Mark's. It reminds me of a country church but located in a sprawling city. The iconography is the same as most other churches. The chanting is also very similar. I felt at home, even under the circumstances that brought me there. Fr. George and the deacon, as well as the second priest, were so welcoming and gracious when answering any question my assistant and I asked. If you are looking for an Orthodox church home, visit St Mark's.
