        Elaine seems to be very thorough and takes good care of my teeth. The staff has been very pleasant each time I have been. Do note they still require a mask. I forgot mine today.

        I love coming to Ivy Dental. I have pretty bad teeth and have been to more than 10 dentists in my life. Dr. Kim is a keeper. She and her staff have gone out of their way to take great care of me. Dr Kim carefully explains what she is going to do at each step of the procedure. She is very gentle and concerned with my comfort. Her staff is professional, friendly and caring. Insurance billing is smooth and Ivy Dental's fees are very reasonable.         My wife went here and doctor Kim was very ruff during the cleaning. After she told my wife she had three cavities and needed a root canal. My wife went to another dentist for a second opinion. The new dentist couldnt even read the x-rays that Ivy Dental took because they were so blurry. The new dentist took new x-rays and the new x-rays showed she didnt have ANY cavities and did not need a root canal. Very concerning.

      Although we try our hardest to be gentle, we also have to remove as much build up as we can to improve gum health of the patient. We always ask the patient to raise left hand if feeling any sensitivity during the cleaning to make the visit as less anxious as we possibly can.When x-rays are transferred via email, it loses clarity. I can assure you that x-rays taken in the office are very clear and can be analyzed in various ways using digital technology. Please contact the office for specific teeth of concern. We can show you exactly where they are as we have shown you in the office. I hope this helps to clarify your misunderstanding. Thank you for your feedback.
