Booked a appointment at this nail shop for 9 PM by 1130pm I had her soaking off my nails how she lay the acrylic my nails are looking like bad veneers She cut my cuticles did not ask did not wear gloves prime my nails then shaped them which left them with dust and oil from her touching the nail bed by the time she laid the acrylic I asked her to soak them off it was so late by the time I left I still had a little bit of acrylic Left on my fingers so I found another nail tech at 8 AM and had her soak the remainder off which we found out that they use MMA I am highly upset my cuticles were cut I wasted my time and also MMA was used ,I called them when they open I spoke with Lauren, and she was very apologetic and understanding and offered me a free service and assured me that that would not happen again ,that sometimes the nail techs bring their own products, She told me she would have the manager call me and I told her no thats fine just let her know whats going on later that day the manager Jennifer called me at 5 PM was very rude call me 3 times after calling the first time of hanging up in my face and told me that its not their responsibility that MMA was used she bought it from Valentino and she would take it up with Valentino she also did a swatchs with different acrylics of Valentino and she admitted yes the label on the bottle was different and also the acrylic was different basically saying yes this product is MMA , Jennifer was very rude not understanding not apologetic also told me that Lauren only had been working there two days and did not know what she was talking about which I find weird because when I spoke with Lauren she was pleasant very understanding and I left a phone call feeling OK , but Jennifer calling and being very dismissive of the fact that an illegal product was used that could potentially gave me health problems Im gonna leave a review and let others know its not ok , Also when MMA is removed by soak off it looks really sticky and weird ladies and gents You definitely can tell during soak off if MMA is use theres no way to miss it the products socks off completely different! And on top of that this is one of the most expensive nail shops Ive been to in LA $85 for a short set is crazy with no design , Not even a bottle of water offered absolutely not worth it , would not recommend this place

I wanted to love this place but I have my reservations about the quality of acrylic being used here. First incident was while swimming on a trip I grazed the pool wall. Instead of just the acrylic nail popping off it took my entire nail bed. I will now be thumbnail less for the next 5-8 months. Then both of my pinky nails and an index nail has bent and have broken my nail half way on the nail bed. My nails are so damaged and I wont be able to get them worked on until theyre healed. This is so disheartening because Ive been getting my nails done religiously for the last year and a half and this has never happened to me and did when I tried this new place. I had amazing nail health until coming here. I highly suspect theyre using a banned acrylic that is known to cause this problem. Be wary. My nails werent even xxl to be having this issue. This review and pictures are from four weeks out cause I debated about leaving the review cause theyre relatively new but the thumb thing happened about 5 days after getting them done and the rest by the second week. I also broke off the acrylic on the pinky nail that partially still has nail on it because of the pain it was causing me when it would get caught onto something since it broke my natural nail bed into half.
