Alchemy Salon HB

Best salon in all of HB. I live in Los Angeles and I'm telling you that it's worth the drive. No better salon specializes in alternative hair. And for natural hair colors you can't go wrong.

I found this place originally through yelp and Groupon. It has been years since I've gone to a salon to get my hair styled and cut and all of the other good stuff. I booked my appointment with Carrie because I absolutely adored her work that I saw on here and Instagram. She was very flexible with me in booking an appointment on a busy day (Saturday morning). She took her time with me and was extremely welcoming. I definitely think I've found my new place and will be returning for future cuts and dyeing my virgin hair!  Location: When you get there, it looks a bit confusing but it is located on the first floor and there are several rooms offering different services (eyelash extensions, hair, etc)

I used to go to a hairstyle salon in Corona del Mar and stopped going there becuase my old stylist will never listen to what I asked her to do and always ended using the razor in my hair eventhough I specifically said I did not wanted too. Carrie Flintrop is my neighbor and one day talking to her husband Erick he told me she had a hair salon here in HB.. I gave her a call to make an appoinment and I have been going with her ever since. I love how Carrie takes the time to listen what you want and she always do such a FANTASTIC job!  She dyies & cut my hair and I will not go anywhere else... Alchemy salon is a cute space, that is kept super clean & nicely decorated. Will I recommend going with Carrie? Absolutelly! She is the best!!
