I had to put a review to let everyone how wonderful this place is. Dee Dee has been helping me thru getting insurance and is the most kind and patient person I have ever known. She has helped me tremendously!! I highly recommend this place. You will get the best help ever!

Dee Dee and Nicole were amazing at helping me figure out how to save my mom and dads medical insurance! It was confusing for me but they helped us through understanding every step of the way. From filling out all the forms to us asking a lot of questions they had patience and amazing communication. We got my dad on a great medical plan that saves him a lot of money a month while putting my mom on a blue shield plan that saved her over $100 from her other Anthem plan. Dee Dee is an insurance wizard, she has saved me from insanity in trying to get health insurance through covered CA's through the health insurance portal, (a veritable black hole), where any signs of intelligence gets sucked up and goes to die. She virtually held my hand and walked me through the entire process from beginning to end. Dee Dee always personally answers her own emails and returns your calls immediately - at least within 24 hours. That kind of service is unheard of in today's world! I will only trust Dee Dee at Surf City Insurance with all my personal health insurance. Thanks a million!

I don't even know where to begin with this business. I don't even consider them a "business" any more. When I talk to anyone who answers the phone at Surf City, I am treated like family. I met Brian about 17 years ago through a cold call inquiry I think I was shopping around for health insurance. I specifically remember the call like it was yesterday. I was like "great another insurance guy trying to get my business". long story short, Brian and I talked for over an hour and I never one time felt like I was being sold anything. Brian first helped me with my health insurance. From that point on, Surf City has been my go to insurance people. I am in San Diego and they are in Huntington Beach but there is NEVER an issue about our locations. Years ago Brian and Dee Dee were in my area and stopped by my home to chat. I felt like they were friends that I invited over. Through the years, Brian, Dee Dee and Nicole have always been so super helpful no matter how many inquiries or questions I have. They have helped me with my health insurance, life insurance, investments and now my in laws medicare. My in laws speak mostly spanish so they decided to go with a local agent who spoke spanish. After several hiccups and me sitting in the other agents office several times for hours each time just to get seen as well as not getting the answers I needed. I decided to talk to Dee to see what I could do to get some issues resolved. I emailed her ALL of my questions and immediately got a reply to my email even though it was around 7pm. I don't feel as if the other agent was leading us down the wrong path. I just feel that she was young and not as experienced or knowledgeable as my friends at surf city. Dee immediately had answers to what I thought was going to be an impossible task. I felt relieved to have spoken to her. My in laws were worried about the language barrier BUT Adrian at surf city is fluent in Spanish, which made my in laws completely comfortable with my recommendation to talk to Dee and Brian. There are a ton of insurance agents out there, but if you want a company that really cares about your needs over just selling you something, you HAVE to call surf city.
