Tried this place on the recommendation of a friend, who said their food is good. Hes tried all the other Mexican restaurants in town and said this place is the best in Hollister. We went here with two other friends who drive in from out of town. Lets just say that La Catrinas food is GREAT. I was the DD as I dont drink. My friends had the margaritas. Not just one serving, but two per person. Everyone had a good time. I had the coffee and thought it was really good coffee, compared to all the other coffee places Ive been to in the past. This is not just in Hollister, but in general. Service is good. The chips and salsa kept pouring in. We had the beef tacos and enchiladas. It is hard to go wrong with anything. All the food is good. I would recommend this place. Parking: I parked on the street almost in front of the restaurant. Street parking is free. This was on a Saturday night. There is a parking garage, which I believe is free to park.

Overall we've had good experiences here. The food is ok. Not authentic Mexican food more of TexMex American taste. The service is usually good. The drink options are good.
