An absolute gem nestled in Hermosa Beach! The seafood at Playa Hermosa is beyond compare from the succulent oysters to the perfectly seared scallops and the delectable fish and chips, every dish was a culinary delight. The Albacore Sashimi was a personal favorite, bursting with freshness and flavor. But what truly elevated the experience was the breathtaking view of the pier from their patio. As we indulged in our meal, we were treated to the mesmerizing sight and the vibrant energy of people strolling by. A perfect harmony of delectable cuisine and scenic beauty, making every moment an unforgettable one. Can't wait to return!

Love this place so much! My hubby and I found this gem one day last year during a quick weekend trip to Hermosa. We loved their grilled fish tacos and service so much, that we went back the following day to have more. We also had shrimp cocktail which was excellent. We just took our son for another quick weekend getaway and again ended up eating at Playa Hermosa twice because it is just that good. The service here is OUTSTANDING. Nicole the manager has a great, upbeat personality and is super knowledgeable about food allergies which I greatly appreciated! Alvaro the server is amazing. Accommodating, attentive, friendly and everything you want in a server. Love the low key vibe of this place and it will always be our first stop when we are in town. This time our son tried and loved the lobster Mac and cheese, and my husband loved the Lobster pasta. We had fish and shrimp tacos and they were AMAZING. I ordered the grilled zucchini which was grilled and caramelized perfectly with just the right amount of balsamic glaze. Drinks are on point too. I had the Texas mule and my hubby enjoyed the DInglehoppers. It was actually my birthday and Alvaro brought out a cheesecake for my boys to put a candle in a sing me happy birthday. There are a lot of choice in Hermosa and on the strand. Some way more expensive but not nearly as good as this place!
