We had a clear lemon law case and after speaking with them they said that the automaker (dodge) would be responsible to pay my legal fee’s and that I would walk away owing nothing and be able to return my faulty truck. That was not the case! Another red flag: through the duration of my case I called them more than 10 times but less than 50 times to ask a question or get an update on my case. My phone call was not answered once! After my lemon law case is settled they say I owe an additional $750 for some BS filings and assistant fees. They told me in the beginning that the automaker per California law paid my attorney fees. After they got paid a substantial amount from Daimler Chrysler they sued me for $750. I opted for arbitration because in the beginning they told me Dodge was responsible for all of my legal fees. After there lawsuit I was able to have the $750 reduced $100 per the arbitrationist. So I only Had to pay $650 to the lawyer I hired to have my back that sued me in return. Lucky me after I was told nothing out of my pocket. They are not customer focused, they never answered a single call or offered legal advice while being my attorneys until they asked for more money at the end. I would not recommend for lemon law representation. Not sure what else they do but I would not recommend them for any legal counsel.

Stay away from this company. When you call, they tell you that you dont pay any lawyer fees and that they get their fees from the auto company. In lemon law cases when you have a strong case, the auto company usually decides to settle immediately in order for the case not to go to litigation. In my case, ford settled immediately after they received the letter of representation from Krohn and moss. However, they refused to pay the $3500 rate that Krohn and Moss stated on their bill. Ford only paid $1750 to the law firm. Following this, the law firm that led me to believe that all lawyer fees are paid by the auto company demanded that I pay the balance . The law firm said you can refuse the offer and we can take it to court but then they have a 50/50 chance of getting all fees from the auto company. Basically you have no choice but to pay their fees if they cant get their fees from the auto company like they tell you that they will. Misrepresenting and misinforming the clients before they sign with the company and then going after the client because they cant get their fees from the auto company. Its a shameful way of doing business.

I had the pleasure to work with John Barker at Krohn and Moss. After multiple trips to the dealership for issues with our new Chevy Malibu and feeling as if nothing was going to ever get done with making sure I was in a reliable car I contacted Krohn and Moss. John was very nice and understanding about our situation and gave us a few options of what we can do to settle with GM over our lemon of a car. We recently settled with GM after months and months of going back and forth. It was a process that seemed to take forever but, Mr. Barker talked us through that process and kept me updated along the way. There were times that it took a day or two to reach him but hey I'm NOT his only client and needed to learn my patience. Mr. Barker was very supportive, understanding, and was very thorough with explaining the process to us. To whomever is reading this, please people have patience, trying to settle with big companies is going to take time just like selling a house. There will be a lot of back and forth but, trust that the lawyers at this firm you hired is 100% on your side. My child has a lot of health issues going on and a reliable car is #1 on my list of needs and Mr. Barker had compassion and did exactly what we needed him to do FIGHT for us and not allow GM to push us into thinking the issues with the car was in our imagination. If there comes a time that I would need to hire a lawyer again I, for a fact will be contacting Krohn and Moss again. I highly recommend this firm.
