We paid this man $3,650 to paint our single story home a 2 tone color and my husband and I could of done a better job ourselves. The house was empty with no furniture, and all carpet and flooring was removed. He told us this would be a 4 day job and he would bring his crew in to get it done. Well his "CREW" was himself and a older man. He took 6 days to complete the job. A few days into painting I noticed several flaws in his work and put sticky notes all over the walls pointing it out to him and left him a note of the areas that needed to be fixed. At the time he was not finished yet so I thought maybe I was over stepping. Then the day after he said he was finished I showed up to the house to meet with him to pay him and found so many things wrong. The lines along the base boards and the walls were not strait. There were paint runs from the tan paint on the walls going onto the white on the base boards. He said he would prep the walls and he didn't even fill in several holes and flaws in the walls before painting. Along several door jams he got tan paint on the white door jams. I could go on but there is so much wrong with this paint job. So I told him I would not pay him till my husband came back in town and looked over the house and he said he would fix everything I pointed out. Well that same day we were having our tile installed so he couldn't get much fixed because he was in there way. So he did fix a few things but said he would come back to fix the rest later. On Thursday 4 days later my husband and I meet him back at the house and it was hard to see everything because the tile was still being laid (this is why the job was suppose to be completed the week before). My husband and I pointed out several flaws we saw and he said he would come back and fix it after Thanksgiving. He said he had things to do with family and after Thanksgiving he would give us a call. So my husband paid him the full amount due taking him on his word because he was a church going person. Well of course he never called or came back. After being in the home for 3 weeks now we are seeing more and more flaws in his work. As we hang pictures we can see so much white showing threw the tan paint on the walls. My husband and I are so disappointed with his work and "WOULD NOT" recommend him to anyone.
