Gentle Dental Hayward

Ive been coming here for a couple years now. Dr. Watanabe and his staff are friendly, efficient and caring. Every now and again the front desk staff can be a bit rude but my overall dental experience has been a positive one here!

My experience was good. Quick, easy and comprehensive. I noticed a few things at the front desk with one particular person. I didnt get her name but she was rude with several of the dental patients. She can use some training in customer service. Otherwise the three people (2front desk and one dental assistant) who helped me was excellent! They made the visit great! Thank you with your help explaining the process Suggestion: I would sit in on at the front desk for 10 to 15 minutes, maybe get some perspective of the patient and the front desk. Also, ask the patient about their experience when they check in with their dentist. Thanks for listening and being open to new ideas.

Waiting period is ridiculous & they're always backed up as if they're short staffed. I was there for 2hrs. just to be seen the first day i went in. The consultation only took 2min. & somehow the dentist came up with more problems than the minutes he spent on checking. Every other dentist offers a cleaning on your first vist, they never offered & when i asked for it, they said they didn't have time. Are you kidding me?! The next appointment they were only concerned with getting paid & getting as much as possible done even tho i told them I couldn't afford it all at once, they then started trying to get me into looking for supplemental insurance to cover. Obviously I was not their concern, they only wanted money regardless of my financial situation. They proved to me that they didn't care about me or my needs, only their own! I will never return to this place & do not recommend them to anyone!
