        I have been involved with the Big Wave Project for several years as it makes the vision of a working farm, residential development and eventually some commercial business space a reality. My daughter has intellectual disabilities, which led my wife and me to become involved, and although she won't be living there (having been accepted into other housing) we know from direct experience that this is a vitally needed project. Big Wave is a place where individuals with disabilities will be able to live, work, grow and contribute. Several day progams in the Bay Area currently use the farm to educate and provide hands-on experiences for the participants. The people involved are fabulous, from visionary Jeff Peck to all the other famiies who have put so much energy into this! Onward Big Wave!!
