Hacienda Pediatric Dentistry

After visiting two other dental offices for my 6 and 8 year old, we found Hacienda Pediatric Dentistry has that special warmth and care children gravitate towards. Dr. Sheu is gentle, quick and reassuring for the children. The entire staff is kind, patient and understanding of patient's worries and fears, including that of the parents. Today, my 6 year old had some major work done that could only be done all at once under anesthesia and as any parent would feel, I was nervous, but the staff and doctors took all the steps to make us, parents, feel easy about it, including making phone calls before and after the procedure, and allowing us to reach out with any questions. Hacienda Pediatric Dentistry provides top tier care and I will be recommending them to anyone who needs a pediatric dentist.

Im so glad I found Dr.Sheu and her office! I had previously taken my 5 yo (then 4yo) son to another pediatric office in Diamond Bar, also with fairly high reviews, but they always struggled to take x-rays & get all the way thru a basic cleaning on my son or it felt very rushed and not thorough. Just checking visually, bc they could never get X-rays, they said my son had a cavity. We scheduled his cavity with an oral sedation, which did nothing for him but make him grumpy, so they had to cancel his procedure. He was traumatized after that and they said he had to have IV sedation instead, which I felt uncomfortable with. They also said parents couldnt be in or near the room during the procedure, saying its bc children do better without parents there with them, so that was another weird thing, I would want to be there to ease my kiddo, but they were against it. From that day, my search for a new pediatric dentist started. The staff here at Dr. Sheus office were able to get X-rays, no sweat at all! Then they were able to clean my sons teeth thoroughly! Onto the cavities, Dr.Sheu and staff were AMAZING, they gave him nitrous oxide and he took to it with zero issues, he was constantly praised and did great, plus I was able to stay near and see him during the procedure. If you have a scared/anxious/wiggly kiddo, I really recommend Dr. Sheu and her staff/office! Im very pleased with their patience, professionalism and work. We will be coming here from now on! Dr. Sheu is amazing, every time we have gone she has been extremely patient with my kids. We have been taken our kids there for years and every time we go they provide us with great service.

Excellent dentist. She was able to see my son the same day for an emergency and took care of the issue.
