        Kentucky Pete Henderson Combs is one of the finest craftsmen around. He's been in the same location for 40 years and has reupholstered thousands of pieces of furniture. If you have an old chair or couch or something... he's the best man for the job. He's so popular that sometimes his waiting list goes six months or more and refers business to his good friend "CW" up on the mesa. One of these days, Kentucky Pete is going to retire, then we all will be left in the cold. He's going to be 80 years old (in June 2022) and he's still hammering, nailing, sewing and doing all those things a master upholster needs to do. If you have something that needs his gifted touch, better contact him soon, because one day he's just going to put down his tools and retire. As old Kentucky Pete says, Upholsterers never die, they always recover.
