The Artist Workshop

I would not recommend this place. We did a sign painting class with oil based stain and the fumes were toxic and it caused a literal headache. The vinyl stencils ripped and didnt stick properly and were also stretched out. My $55 sign is botched, and I was told their Cricut doesnt cut that big. Then dont offer that size of sign. They said I can make the line longer with some painters tape. Also, dont use oil based stain or put your employees and customers in that toxic situation without educating them on proper ventilation. Such a disappointment.

Absolutely loved this class! My people booked us all for my birthday gift. So much fun. Our instructor Anita was great! I cant wait to go back!

This is my favorite place to go. Anita is an amazing teacher, she is so patient with everyone! Ive been three times and I love every picture I paint it. Im finally good at something! Well, maybe not good, but better than I thought. Have a fun night with your friends and bring your own alcohol!! 40$ and you have a beautiful picture to hang in your home!

I wanted to do something special with my niece. She's a crafty 9-year old. I was really excited. The Artist Workshop seemed perfect. Unfortunately, Jeannie, the owner, explained that she wouldn't be open for painting tomorrow, but she can and does make take-home custom pottery painting kits. She offered to meet me at the store, and when scheduling got tricky, she offered to send me photos of the ceramic pieces we'd be most interested in. She sent me several great options, and offered to go back in the morning to send more if needed. In the end, we didn't opt to do take-home painting this time. (My niece wanted time out of the house with me, away from the fam, and it will be too hot to paint at the park.) But I had to leave a review anyhow. This level of customer service in rare and beautiful. This business deserves all the stars I have to give. Highly recommend.
