        This review is in regard to Mrs. Bivens, first grade teacher at La FetraElementary. She is heavy on "seatwork", and will bench kids for recess to finish coloring, even. Also, she restricted my son from a trick or treatingfield trip and tried to restrict him from another field trip. However, I spoke to the district, and this is not allowed. Field trips are educational and therefore a part of the curriculum not to be used as reward or punishment. Thankfully, my son has moved on. But, I walked past her class today and she called out to the first graders, "Come on guys, we're talking about going to the Fair here!", obviously employing the same tactics. BURNOUT!

        Both of my kids enrolled La Fetra Elementary. Linus (6) just finished Kindergarten and Allison (11) graduated last year.  I can't thank enough to our dedicated teachers and principal of La Fetra. They are the reason we moved to Glendora and we will stay in Glendora for many more years.
