Dr. Scott Beeve

Dr. Scott Beeve did my cataract surgeries in July 2023, each eye a week apart. The procedure went smooth, with no discomfort. Previously I always had to wear glasses for reading, and now I rarely need to wear them. This was an unexpected result because I just opted to have the basic intraocular lenses. It is nice to have everything look brighter and clearer as well. I am very pleased with the care and clear explanations I was given by Dr. Beeve, and his staff were very professional and helpful as well.

I received my first pair of glasses from Dr. Beeve when I was a junior in high school. Ever since then, Dr. Beeve and staff always took care of my prescriptions and lenses. I had asked about the possibility of LASIK, but he recommended we wait until my vision stabilized. Well that point was almost exactly a year ago. I was finally able to get the procedure, and I am so happy I did! I think the surgery itself took less than 20 min, and within a day I had recovered. It's been a year and I cant emphasize how happy I am. I can see everything clearly, I don't need to remember to bring my glasses everywhere I go, and I can wear whatever sunglasses I want. Its been a blessing to have in my classes. Thank you Dr. Beeve and staff!

I had my yearly appointment with Dr. Beeve today. He remains 5 stars in my eyes due to his knowledge, patience, attention to detail and overall outstanding care. He takes the time to listen to my concerns and encourages me when I worry about my driving anxiety related to lifelong eye issues. His advice to opt for toric  lenses implanted during my cataract surgery was the best advice imaginable. The surgery was a breeze and now I have no need for glasses or contacts. If you are given this choice don't hesitate to pay the extra cost because it is worth every penny! Today, 11/1/22, I had the pleasure of revisiting Dr. Beeve's office. I got the care I have raved about many times. I ordered glasses to improve my distance vision that has waned some with age! Cindy and Melissa at the front desk greeted me with a smile. Amanda tested my vision with refraction for my new glasses's prescription with expertise, Ana fitted me and helped me choose the frames I love. Dr. Beeve was his usual kind, efficient, professional self!!

Very first review ever.  Starting with strengths-Beautiful office, nice and knowledgeable Dr. Improvement needed for office staff, in particular Carla. It is unbelievable that someone who works in the health care industry to have such a poor, aggressive attitude.  Seems like it is just a job for her and patient health and well being is not remotely reflected in her demeanor.   I'm pretty sure arguing and yelling at patients in a very condescending manner is the antithesis of care. I wish I could say it was an off day, shrug it off but honestly have seen her behave that way with other patients (in person and telephonically). Healthcare industry is not for everyone and it certainly seems like it is time for Carla to explore her skills/interests and find a career where she doesn't have to have human interaction.  I could be wrong about her and perhaps the Doctor has instructed office staff to behave in this manner.
