Leo seems almost like family after our experience with him. He made my wifes engagement ring and our wedding bands for our wedding in 2023. He also did an upgrade to my wifes wedding band to completely cover the ring with diamonds. His skill as a jewelry sculptor is only surpassed by his endless positivity!

Leo made my ring selection process so painless and really made me feel cared for. He did not try to upset me on different options but instead focused in on what my preferences were and provided recommendations that fit that mold. He was so patient with me as I combed through details of the ring including thickness of the prongs, shape of the pave rings, shape of the prongs, and even the thickness of the band to the millimeter. When I held the first "finished" product in my hand, Leo could see that I was not completely satisfied with it and was patient enough to talk through what changes would make me feel comfortable with the final ring. What a kind, generous, honest and patient man! I'd recommend Leo to anyone who's looking for high quality jewelry and high quality service.

I was recommended to Leo at Mandarin Gems by a friend after commenting about how much I liked his ring and told him that I was in the market for a wedding band. I am forever grateful for his recommendation, and I hope this review has the same effect on those of you looking for a jeweler.From my first to the most recent (and definitely not last) interactions with Leo, I am impressed with his authenticity, sincerity, and genuine care for me not simply as a customer, but as a new friend. He was straightforward about his pricing and helped me understand important properties of what I was looking for in a ring. No jeweler prior to Leo had bothered to do the same for me. Thanks to Leo and his expertise, I got the exact wedding band I was looking for, custom, in just under two weeks.Lastly, in the couple of in-person visits at Mandarin Gems, I've also had the pleasure of conversation with Michael and Paul on the topic of watches. I was surprised to find that everything I mentioned about Leo can be extended to the rest of Mandarin Gems.Leo and Mandarin Gems are true gems that deserve to shine (hah!). There's so much I can say about Leo and the experience I had with him. Let me tell you, every 5 star review on here is dead accurate about the character of the business owner. Allow me to share with you my brief story:I called in on a Thursday evening almost around closing time because I found him on Yelp. I told him I needed him to set a stone on a ring for me ASAP because I wanted to propose the following week. We only had two days to do it because I was taking off on a trip to Joshua tree where I would propose. Without even thinking twice, Leo was already thinking of a plan to help me get the stone set in time. Long story short, he waited at the shop AFTER closing hours to wait for me to bring in the stone/ring, and then woke up early to head to the manufacturing plant to get the stone set for me. Mind you-- I'm a complete stranger who just called in.. He could've just said "oh it won't be able available until next week" which would be totally reasonable, but no -- he really wanted to help me and went out of his way, literally worked OVERTIME for FREE for a STRANGER. Thanks to Leo, I made my successful proposal with a beautifully set ring on time. I tipped him cash--I would've tipped my left kidney if he needed one!I'm telling you guys, it is very hard to come by customer service like this. He is special. He is a man of God...God bless this man. Visit him - you will not regret it!Thank you Leo!-Brian
