Hands down the best rental store I have been to so far. They have been patient and supportive for our student film production right from the beginning. Will be going again with Illuminar!

Ive been working with Illuminar for a few projects already. My first time was when I was in the lighting department, and now I did my own film as a cinematographer. So, I did go to Illuminar where I got great service, equipment and pricing. Its been long preproduction and during this time Illuminar helped me with equipment selection and how this equipment works and can be used, so there are very knowledgeable people. My pick up went very smoothly and quickly, despite the fact that I had to do some changes of what I needed, and staff helped me with it and gave me their suggestions. The gear that they have are in good condition and clean, so during my fast paced production I never had any problems with equipment. And another note, Illuminar staff give great help during the paperwork, and process all the questions of paperwork and email very quickly. And of course, they were very very supportive to me with the budget I had. I'm always pleased by the company and will continue to get back to them in the future. Big thanks to Illuminar and its crew!

Illuminar has been one of the best G&E rental experiences Ive had. Its hard to find a one-stop shop that has top quality options in both Photography AND Video lighting. Usually I have to rent from multiple places. They allowed me to custom build my package with flexible pickup and drop off times. They worked with our company to set up payment terms, and when one thing was missing from my rental due to an oversight on my part, they had a driver bring me the missing grip I required. I will rent from them every time I have a production in the LA area.

Awsome staff! So helpful with any questions, issues, requests, changes etc. Fair prices and on site staff is helpful and efficient with pickups, drop offs and swaps.
