Madewell - Closed

It was my first time at Madewell. My friend always raves about this store so I decided to go in. I quickly found a pair of jeans i liked & decided to try them on. I came out and showed my friend. I saw the employee going above and beyond for the other customer and never even cared to ask me about the jeans I tried on since I expressed they weren't the best fitting. My friend told me I could go to the denim section at the top floor for more options. So I did, again no greeting and I didn't feel welcomed at all. It's so sad to see employees treat us this way. It be your own because she was Latina. My friend said that they're not like this at the Grove so I might give it a second chance.

I love MadeWell. I love the style and there clothing. Ive been to this store a hand full of times. However the last time I went there. I felt racially profiled. Never have I felt that way in a made well store, but the one in the one in the Americana was something else! The atmosphere was cold. The ladies were rude, and would make unnecessary comments when I was looking at the jewelry. I bought something from there but ended up feeling uncomfortable afterwards. POC women beware.

The store director Brittany is a gem  of an employee for this company. She was incredibly helpful and patient helping me find a pair of jeans and not kicking me out beyond closing. This kind of service is hard to find in retail anymore as most people would just direct you to do it yourself online. Thank you for the great customer service!

Hm first of name of the shop goes well with quality but bit more pricy I love there skirts in linen so lovely I got last year with bottoms in side even lined wish bring more colored this year shop is helpful always but sometimes size is up and down you have to do I love there style but usually odd like country style I go with my own style that skirt was so nice I saw this year deferent in 90 style but no lined I go size up one there shoes is wow but have to Breckinridge them first in month there flat good for walking and traveling I go half size up just bit pricy and this year every where is more pricy even no quality things and useless do no waste money on it anyway but late to get my birthday discount hahahave to say better then j crew even they sister company and my brother loves there and they are bit more expensive I wont give for shirt that much not fool
