ZAA Studio

I recently worked with ZAA Studio on a project for an ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) and SB9 unit to add 2 additional units on my lot. I wasnt sure if they provided service for projects like mine since most of their work was high end luxury homes but they were professional and paid close attention to every detail and treated me like a family member. ZAA Studio listened to my needs and gave me helpful advice based on their knowledge of ADU regulations and SB9 laws keeping my budget in mind. They communicated well, keeping me informed about the progress and quickly addressing my questions. They never ran out of patience in guiding me throughout this process since it was my first time. I learned so much from them and I would love to work with them again. The project was well-managed, and they delivered on time. ZAA Studio understood the importance of both appearance and functionality, creating an architectural design that perfectly suited my preferences. We started working with Zaven during Covid and it was truly a pleasure working with him and his team.  They were professional, RESPONSIVE, and worked with us until the end to make sure everything was to our liking. We would highly recommend them to anyone who is planning to build or remodel.

Built my detached ADU despite my odd setup in the backyard. Came in way under budget and I was totally green to bring an owner builder. Zaven was great.

I built a two story detached ADU way under budget thanks to Zaven, who was super responsive and helpful. I was very green and new to construction projects of any kind so it was amazing to feel like my plans were in great hands.

I didn't get to do business with them because I am out of the area, so why am I writing this review?? Well, it comes down to phone customer service. I have chatted with a few companies who were rude about not being able to do the work. It's not a big deal, but why the rudeness? Anyway, complete opposite experience here. I am happy to refer them to my friends, family and yelp community to at least start with that phone call and understand why I would want to consider doing future business with them.
