    Terrible service. The guy came in told us the fix was going to be $300 and refused to do any work unless I paid him on the spot. Then he left and forced me to pay him $85 for his time. Even though he did nothing at all. Had another guy come it was a simple clog took him five minutes to fix it. This place is looking to rip you off. Stay away.

    Don't be fooled by the positive reviews Short version: They were unprofessional and not knowledgeable about my repair. They charged me $300 for unnecessary work and wouldn't come back to finish the job. Long version: I reached out to a local repair shop I found on Google. I had a beverage fridge on my roof deck that had a bad door sensor. I told them the brand, model and what needed to be fixed. I expected someone from the area to show up with the parts needed, fix the problem and complete it within a few hours. What I got was very different. The two guys that showed up were from Top Tech, not the company I set the appt with. They mentioned having to drive from downtown. They arrived in an unmarked sedan with no shirts or signage to indicate they were repairmen. They did show up on time and knew I had a problem, but had no idea what the problem was. I explained what I had told them over the phone. They told me I would be charged $95 for a diagnostic check. I agreed to it even though I already knew what the problem was. The fridge was in a custom made counter with a barbecue and the person who built it had not considered having to pull the fridge out. It took them five hours to get the fridge free from the barbecue. I asked them if it was necessary to remove it and they said it was. By the time they finished removing the fridge, the day was over. They wanted me to pay them for their time. I agreed, but wanted to pay when the job was finished for fear they might not come back. They insisted I pay them now. I gave them $300 for the work. They said that the problem was the sensor (big surprise) and it was also low on freon. They needed to order the part and it would be there in a day or two. I followed up with them multiple times the next week with no response. I reached out to the manufacturer and was able to order the sensor and replace it myself. There was no need to remove the frdge as the sensor is located inside the front panel. There was still the original tape in place which tells me they never looked at the sensor and there was no serial number on it which they said they needed to order a new one. It cost me $30 and it's working fine now. Maybe they weren't experienced with my product, but they should have said something instead of faking their way through it. They didn't offer to take their shoes off when entering my home. They smoked and left cigarette butts on my deck. They also scratched my outdoor teak table when they were working. These are small things, but it's what I've come to expect after working with other contractors. I gave them two stars because they showed up on time, removed the fridge without damaging it and were also pretty nice. I would never call them again for any service. Hope this review helps.

    What happened with this company was scary. My wife was home alone to let a tech in to fix our stove. When he came in, the technician had a very thick accent and we only speak English in the home. It was extremely difficult to communicate, and he became very exasperated and annoyed, storming through the door when he arrived before any communication. He tried to explain that he would try to fix it for one dollar value, and then was saying it may cost another. My wife called her mother in law, and she asked him to speak more slowly when he spoke to her on the phone. He began speaking slowly and said is this slow enough English for you? After some time, we offered to call the company to try and bridge the gap between communication, and he became extremely inflamed, and began pacing around the house on the phone, at one point when my mother in law was on the phone and my wife was holding the phone, he snatched the phone out of her hand and when the call was done he slid her phone back to her on the counter. After insults, cursing, and physicality towards a young woman for no reason, and after his bosses telling him to leave, eventually my wife threatened to call the police, he said to her go ahead do it almost challenging her to see what would happen if she did. He refused continually to leave, was pacing through our house, yelling, and when i came home my wife was shaking and crying. my wife was home alone, trusted this person to come into our home, and that trust was completely disrupted. i left work which is an hour and a half away because i didn't know what would happen. when he finally left, he was nose to nose with my wife wagging his finger in her face continually threatening her, and when he eventually went far enough outside she slammed and locked the door. he stopped in the middle of the road and stared at her through the window of the kitchen while driving away. i dont know the quality or policies of this business, but it is incumbent upon any company to make sure their employees are mentally sound enough to perform the tasks asked of them, which was abhorrently missing for this unhinged individual.
