Took my friend's goat over and he had to spend the night. Thought he had bloat... He's ok now!

Brandon, Heather, and Dr. Mario are Rockstars! Our pot-bellied pig, Harley, got a foxtail in her eye. Late Friday afternoon, Brandon helped us communicate with Dr. Mario, who wanted to see her. On Saturday, Heather got us checked in. Soon after, a very sedated Harley, minus the foxtail and her relieved 'parents' were on our way home. BTW - We hadn't been to TVVH in over a year. Their quick response to our emergency was very much appreciated.

my dog was hit by a car , so I rushed my dog to be seen by a veterinarian . in hopes to hear something , anything ....but instead they rejected my dog , they showed no concern , knowing my dog was suffering in my arms as I was so desperate just to hear the odds of my dog surviving or not , even a percentage would have showed some kind of compassion towards their servives of our loved ones . I believe a good veterinarian would have reacted to my dog with more concern. they didn't even bother to look at him so much , as a matter of fact the lady assisting at the front desk showed more compassion and concern for my dog . she seemed more eager to get me the help my dog needed .... knowing there are qualified employes there that could have offered to look at my dog , even so much as a rough percentage as to what was the odds of my dog surviving and giving me some kind of reassurance so I would know what to expect . instead we were rejected , a veterinarian is knowledgeable enough to have been so gracious to give me there educated opinion to help me figure out the next option for my dog . ANY NEWS IS GOOD NEWS .... especially when it comes to our loved ones. not to mention how calm and understanding i remained even though in that moment I felt helpless and was given no mercy for my suffering dog . and I do consider the fact that for most people time is money .... but in circumstances like these and there occupation is to save lives I expected better services coming from a place where we are supposed to bring our pets for help , knowing that they can not speak for themselves to better help us , help them.... that's what being a veterinarian is about .... having the knowledge and ability to speak on the behaves of our loved ones so we know how to better care for them . I respected there decision to nonchalantly reject my dog. and that is why I am writing this .... I was disappointed with my experience at TRI-COUNTY VETERINARY HOSPITAL
