Eager Minds Child Care

Ms. Alex at Eager Minds Child Care is amazing! She provides fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities for my son and I have seen so much growth from him since he has started! It is an amazing feeling to know that your baby is happy and enjoying their time when you have to be away from them. We were struggling with knowing if I should continue to work or stay at home because of issues with daycare, but after finding Eager Minds we now say I have to keep working because our 1 year old loves going to 'school' so much. The daily updates and pictures help me feel more a part of his day and the love she shows Bubs is priceless. If you are looking for childcare, I couldn't recommend Eager Minds enough!

My son has been going to this daycare for a little over half a year now. For reference, the Pros: -Lots of individual attention. -Not a big daycare, so while there plenty of interaction with other children, he is not constently exposed to a new sick kid every week (so then he sleeps better and we are all happier for it!) -Sleep training! We have been coordinating with the daycare on naps (when, how long, frequency), and this has been great! -The APP! So they use an app call 'HiMama' where we get notifications when he was dropped off/picked up, what he's eating and how much, naps and how long they lasted, important messages like reminders for diapers, and of course pictures/videos of how is day is going! -Learning atmosphere. Lots of new activities like painting, building stuff, how to share, and more. -Sign language. This deserves its own call out. Our son is still young and learning to make the sounds for words. However, now he can sign language to advocate more for himself now such as if he's hungry, done eating/doing an activity, or wants more of something. I didn't understand these cues at first, so I still needed my wife to translate, but I learned now too! Yes, I learned something from my son's daycare, stop laughing... -Meals. They're not just garbage fillers. fruits and healthy snacks provided by the daycare Cons: Honestly, it's been great. Anything I could say would still be less than what we would find elsewhere. Whenever something pops up, they are still great at coordinating with us. We've been pretty happy thus far.
