They cleaned up my whole backyard and removed trees...all within 6 hours, for a reasonable price. Although a couple of ansfus of items broken, my backyard looks decent now.

We used Lona's for a couple of months and had the worst experience. Their workers were very careless and clearly had no idea what they were doing. They did a hack job at moving the lawn, they damaged our sprinkler system in over a dozen places which took hours to fix, and they damaged a rain gutter guard. When we brought these things up to the boss, Luis, he told us to go find another gardener. We had to force them to pay for the damages they caused.
So we found a new gardener - they're cheaper and way more proficient. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere.

Looking to replace our lawn and flower beds with gravel as it seems ALL the neighborhood cats were using them for litter boxes and also to save water we found Loma's Gardening Service. I left a message and within a few minutes Luis responded an sain he could there in 20 minutes. 10 minutes later he was here and gave me some options and we agreed to do both the front and rear yards. This was Friday and thinking maybe he would start within the next couple of weeks Luis said we'll see you in the morning. One worker showed up early to prep the flowerbeds and before you know it Luis and Luis Jr. had a crew of 4 or 5 here. What I thought would take 2 or 3 days was done in a day. All leveled with weed guard fabric the gravel looks great. Had a lot of items that needed to be dumped and Luis was happy to help. Luis and Luis jr. are two of the nicest and most honest guys. Use Loma's Gardening Service for all your needs....

It was time to have the overhang from my neighbor's trees trimmed back.  The scale of the job was fairly extensive to me as these trees are very old and very tall (ht. upwards to the utility lines).  They also produce a lot of debris for clean up on my side.  When googling for vendors close to me, Lona's popped up.  I read some reviews and their website.   I called to schedule an appt. for an estimate which is where I met the owner, Luis Sr.  I liked his good energy.  He was knowledgeable and clearly this was his business...he would cut as much and as high as possible; clear and haul debris.   He worked with me on price, which was great.  On the day of (next day); he brought his son, Luis Jr. plus one.  Luis also very personable and professional.  They were expedient, finished in about 1-1/2 hrs., respected my property and were just all around great.  Plus, I learned there are other types of jobs that they can do (outside garden/trees) and I plan to contact them in future.   The last thing I'll add is that more and more I try to work with small businesses and it being a family-owned business is icing to the cake.  Highly recommend!
