Not very many schools give you the amount of support this school offers. The VN program is difficult, but it offers so much that it makes the completion possible. A loving shoutout to these amazing staff members and instructors who believed in me on days that I didnt: Lynda and Monica Carlos, Jennifer Mesrobian, Lori Liebman, Dr. Manal, and so many others. Thank you, Concorde Career College in Garden Grove.

Concorde Career College's term one vocational nursing program has been an absolute disaster from the get-go. It's been marred by consistent chaos and mismanagement. The abrupt instructor change after the fourth week set the tone for a downward spiral that has only worsened over time. The teaching style adopted by the current instructor for dosage calculations is utterly ineffective. Rather than actively engaging the class, the instructor opts to remain seated, merely dictating answers without providing any real guidance. As if this weren't enough, the recent math mid-term HESI exam added insult to injury. Initially granted two hours for completion, the instructor abruptly truncated the time to a mere 70 minutes, leaving many students scrambling and ultimately resorting to wild guesses on numerous problems. This kind of gross mismanagement and lack of effective teaching makes me strongly advise against enrolling in the vocational nursing class starting in February. It's imperative that anyone interested in pursuing this program look elsewhere until Concorde Career College can rectify its glaring instructional flaws.

My experience with Concorde Career College's Term 1 Vocational Nursing Program has been nothing short of a nightmare. In the short span of 4 to 6 weeks, the entire system has undergone numerous tumultuous changes, leaving the program in disarray. Despite my relentless efforts, it's only by some miracle that I've managed to stay afloat amidst the chaos. Tragically, the majority of the class is currently failing, which speaks volumes about the lack of effective teaching and support. During the recent HESI exam, the situation took a drastic turn for the worse. Not only were we blindsided by several questions that our instructor hadn't bothered to cover, but we were also given false time constraints. Initially allocated 2 hours, we were abruptly informed halfway through that we had a mere 30 minutes left, with the entire time limit drastically reduced to a paltry 70 minutes. This forced many of us, including myself, to resort to blind guesswork rather than allowing sufficient time for thoughtful problem-solving. However, the most distressing incident occurred when I was wrongfully accused of cheating during an exam. The Director of Nursing, Ms. Dickson, accused me and a few other students of navigating away from an exam screen, an action I vehemently deny ever taking. Despite my insistence, she refused to provide any substantial evidence when I asked her for it, cornering me into signing a form admitting to an offense I never committed out of fear and anxiety after she mentioned I could be dropped from the program. This shameful treatment not only reflects the callous indifference of Concorde Career College's administration but also highlights the blatant disregard for student well-being and fair treatment. No student should ever endure the coercion and fear that I was subjected to in that coercive meeting. It's clear that Concorde Career College prioritizes bureaucracy over student welfare.
