I just left the emergency pet clinic in Garden Grove, and I have to say that Destiny who I was first greeted by when I walked in was so sweet and helpful. She answered all of my questions and showed sincere concern regarding my kitty. Having to take your fur baby to a veterinarian due to an emergency is obviously stressful but her demeanor and guidance helped calm my nerves and made this unfortunate situation seem a little more bearable. She genuinely cares and it shows. That makes all the difference in a bad situation. Thank you destiny.

My mother and I took her cat here to be euthanized. The staff was very kind to us during this transition and helped very much. It was afterwards, however, that they dropped the ball. After paying the ridiculous price for a private cremation and a paw print, a system they tout as foolproof, they informed us almost a month later that they had made a mistake and cremated our cat with a bunch of other pets and had already thrown him out, so no ashes, no paw print. Just a panicked apology and a thats just how it happens. Do yourself and your pet a favor and find a better place to take them.

I thank and appreciate this facility! On New Year's Eve yesterday, I took my dog for constant vomiting and with him being aggressive this place worked with us to gently treat him. So far, he is slowly coming back to his normal self. I loved that he went to sleep with us (by sedative) and woke up to us. My heart is very full with this gesture ya'll did. My big boy is cute but mighty feisty. Thank you (the entire team) for helping me on my first emergency visit for my beloved animal. Happy New Year!

Honestly truly i have never been to a place that treated my dog and myself with the most amazing customer service. Karly the receptionist oh my she was so informative and attentive to my dog. We are new in town and went above and beyond to recommend vets for my fur babies. She was helping everyone coming in and was nothing but professional. Dr. Rivera was also amazing and very informative and I really felt like my baby was treated amazing. I 100 percent will recommend this place. Again shout to karly she was an amazing front office

Hello Mr. Picker,I’m so very sorry for you and your mother’s loss and for our error. As I expressed to your mother, we have a system in which three separate team members verify if a pet will be privately cremated and returned home or will be cremated with other pets and spread at sea. Obviously, this system has a flaw and will need to be researched to find where we need to make improvements, so this never happens again. At no time was Kato thrown out. He was treated with respect and his ashes are at sea now. You can view the cremation company’s information on this here: https://www.onlycremations.com/our-services/cremation I definitely never told your mother, “That’s just how it happens.” I very well might have sounded panicked. The worst thing we can do is not return a pet home when that’s what the pet owner wants. I was in disbelief and grieving with her for the loss of Kato’s remains. The fees for your mother’s entire visit were refunded and a donation was made in his name to the Animal Health Foundation. I wish there was something more I could do. All I can do at this point is to make sure it never happens again. Please accept my deepest apologies. Elaine, Hospital Administrator
