North Orange County Vet Center - U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs

Understand this place is for counseling services, when asking about help for housing/ you are left with searching for apps. With so many people needing and looking for places to live, my hopes is that one day their will be a more simplified versions. My hunt for housing continues, yet why is it that trying to find help with have a place to live gets overwhelming??

Made a phone call to be seen and was instructed to come in on Monday between 4:30pm and 8:00pm for walk-in because thats the only way they do their new intakes and I couldnt make an appointment. I arrived at 4:45pm on Monday and was told I couldnt be seen because they were understaffed(there was only 2 people in the waiting room) and was told to come in next Monday. I left my contact information for Roy Mena to contact me because this is an urgent matter for me and I have yet to be contacted. And you wonder why so many veterans commit suicide in the parking lots of these poorly managed facilities.

Extremely skilled counselors and staff always willing to help and refer Veterans to their best choices for their problems.
