St Olaf Childcare Center

Prior to calling this place for availability, many other daycares declined to take in my son due to our temporary situation. This center went above and beyond in accommodating my situation as I was looking for a short term daycare based on my circumstances. Everyone was professional, caring, and prompt in enrolling my child and taking care of him. Even though we were only here for a brief time, I have nothing but appreciation for them.

My 2 year old (30 months) daughter has been attending day care here for two months now and in this short time, she has learned so many new things. It amazes me to see how much she's taking in and really thriving. I get update texts/videos from her wonderful teacher, Miss Alicia, that me and her dad really appreciate. We are very pleased and happy parents. Thank you St Olaf!

We were looking everywhere for a place for my infant and we finally found St Olaf. They were very easy to work with. My child loves the teachers. They have an app where you can easily communicate with the principal. Definitely did a great job. Unfortunately we had to move out of the area and this school became too far for us. Otherwise he would be here for a while. Highly recommend.

I had 2 kids attended the infant room during the span of 2018 to 2021. My 3rd will be attending next week. There are so many choices for preschool in the area but I keep coming back to St. Olaf for many reasons:The teachers are always cheerful and take such great care of my little ones. They follow strict teacher:student ratio per class and will staff accordingly which is a plus. The day is organized w/ educational activities so your child always has a day full of explorations and learning new skills. The infant teachers are always on their feet tending to the kids in the room. I have never witnessed anyone just sitting.  They teach the kids basic sign language and come up with such great ways to introduce them to the different cultures by having different events planned. Tons of work on their part by the way.All the teachers from the school know all the kids for some reason and greet them by their name when they enter the campus. There is a scheduled time for playground where they get to play outside. For the older classes especially, I love that the teachers interact and communicate with them not as little baby but as growing, curios kids. They are taught kindness, patience, encouraged to try new things and guided through how to problem solve or deal with their feelings when things don't go their way on the playground (that's right, I pay attention every time I drop off and pick up even if my child is not in these classes ). But that's how I know this is a great place to be at. These teachers don't put up an act. They do what they do out of the goodness of their heart!Leslie from the front office and Karen the director are the nicest ladies you'll ever meet. Karen runs a tight ship and takes pride in what she does. I notice there's not a lot of new staff over the years which tells me there's no turnover at this place. The teachers want to be here! That's where you want your child to be at. With people who come to work because they genuinely enjoy being there doing what they do best. Karen personally messaged me whenever there was any incident with my child. She kept all parents in the loop with what went on at the center so you'll always feel connected.Overall, just a great 5 star preschool. Don't listen to me. Come for a tour for yourself to see what I'm talking about. Great, kindhearted people who will go above and beyond to make sure your child has the best experience every single day! Can't wait for my newest little one to start attending next week!
