Old Town Pawnshop

These guys are really kool, I got to meet both of them by chance. I came in wanting to sell a bunch of synthesizers and electronic music-making equipment to them that was taking up room in my living space, I wanted quick money and I didn't want to deal with online shoppers and shipping stuff to them since I am minus a vehicle, so of course it looked suspicious and of course they had questions but they were never rude and I never felt unwelcomed in their shop and they bought everything I brought in even though business has been scarce there lately. But, it was my first time even inside a pawn shop and I think it went really well!

Nice staff. But came in with an >15gram 18k gold ring. When I picked it up & paid loan off, 13 grams and the 18k stamp gone Wow just got back to my testing supply. When that ring was dropped off they made darn sure to test verify 18 karat with acid. 3 scratch tests confirm not much beyond 14k. Absolutely disappearing under 18k drops. Ring bought from certified licensed gold exchange. Came w paperwork confirming 18kuntil it left it at this old town pawn place. Pawn people and tow truck lurches are cut from the same cloth. Just happy too have a neighborhood pawn shop that is constantly reliable and willing to put money in your pockets when needed. Love this place!!!!
