Me and my wife recently bought a condo with Ivy and David and they were very helpful throughout the whole process. They made the whole thing very easy. I am a first time home buyer and had pretty much everything answered. I would definitely work with David and Ivy again on my next house purchase.

Was great at first. However, after 5 years of renting, this company tried to make us pay for damages, which were already documented from 2016. During our time renting, our downstairs flooded (causing damages), we were inconvenienced and had to find a motel/hotel room to stay in, the worker never properly fixed the damages. We were subject to animal urine (which is odd as per lease, upon move out, tenants are supposed to have the carpet professionally cleaned, as we did), in the home, mold, chipped paint, broken blinds, closet doors, kitchen damages, ect. We carefully submitted the paperwork as informed in 2016 (signed by myself, spouse, and NB agent). We were not even originally supposed to be in this crime-ridden area, but due to our situation, we were thankful for the chance to rent, especially with our disabilities and disabled children. All that changed in 2021 when we applied for rental assistance for 1 months of rent and were treated unfairly, poorly, our deposit was withheld for damages we documented in 2016 per move in inspection (over $10,000.00 worth of damages). When we emailed NB, we got no response as we submitted the original inspection from 2016 to him. Finally, after repeated unanswered correspondence, since our deposit was withheld for damages already documented, we recently sent the balance of our rent in a money order with the breakdown including the withheld deposit, equalling/totaling the rent owed, a statement of facts, proof of the professional carpet cleaning, and another copy of the damages reported, priority mail, just to cover what we owe. This experience and while being disabled has been unfortunate and unfair. I have emails/documented correspondence and other verifications to support all the above allegations, and yes, national brokers has been given a copy repeatedly. We refuse to be discriminated against while being disabled, just because they cater to a certain criteria as a preference as stated, and we refuse to pay for damages already documented over 5 years ago due to this bias treatment.
