Needed some trees trimmed near power line so PG&E could run new power line to our new renovated home, and I used to work on his boom truck and chipper he uses to do his services so I figure John would be able to help me with this....I received no call back, no text, no aknowledgment that I had even left him a voice mail. Which goes along with the other dozen landscaping and tree service company's I tried calling. 1 out of at least 8 company's returned my call, came to my house and quotede $1,200.00 to trim a single tree iny back yard! Not remove it, trim on it just to a certain hight! What the hell is this world coming to!!??

Never in my life have I had a business owner dismiss me like he did. This was the second time I called for a quote - two stump removals. First time he came out to quote said the job was too small, which I understood. Its a business. So, I decided to add a tree removal (pine trees make a mess) and have him come back to quote. We planned on 8 a.m., he showed at 7:55 a.m., called and said he was outside. I kindly said Id be out in just a few, I needed to get my 3-year-old situated. I walked outside (maybe at 8:02) and my gardener had just pulled up and started asking me about a few shrubs we have, at which point I waved to John and said Im so sorry, Ill be right there. Literally 1 minute passed and I started walking towards John to discuss the job. He was so dismissive, stating he never waits longer than 10 minutes for a client, he didnt need this job and was leaving. Shoeless, I walk quickly towards him apologizing for the mornings craziness and he waved his clipboard in the air saying again he didnt need this job, he has other jobs and he was leaving. He turned, got in his truck and drove off while I was still standing a few feet away. Im still in shock by how rude this man was to me. He came highly recommended by a friend AND I already had given his number to another which gave him work. Sadly, this will be last time I recommend him and his company. No client should ever be treated so disrespectfully.
