        This was in of the worst halfway houses I've ever seen. They have since closed it down.

        This is a halfway house for folks fresh out of Prison. I did not stay there but a good friend of mine did. He didn't love it, it's better than jail but not by a lot. However I (and he) think it was good for him to stay there before heading home and being a "free man". Lots of people who head straight home after years in Jail have strong emotions during the first few weeks out and are very very likely to commit crimes in there confusion. This place gives them some time to start getting used to the idea of not being in Prison while being surrounded by others who understand what they are going through. It's a great community service they provide.
