        The only place we found in the Fresno area that will take used roofing shingles. The hubby loaded all the old shingles from our garage on a trailer and we headed over to CARTS to dispose of them. At the check-in window, they weighed the truck and trailer and told the hubby the charge would be a minimum of $100. We pulled ahead to be directed to which pile of junk they wanted him to unload at. While he unloaded the shingles, I was watching all the activity going on. Several waste management type trucks unloaded, as well as some local cleanup/hauling companies,too. That place is super busy! When the trailer was empty, we got in line to checkout. They weighed the truck and trailer again, the hubby paid just over $100 and we were on our way.
