Cedar-Clinton Library

Good library great service and awesome collection I cannot complain the library is a little old but once they move to the newer one then this library will be a 5 and above.

Very bad maintained. Had to get one book. When I asked the staff they were rude and didn't help me at all. Had to search by myself. Most of the books were old and dusty. Mine was even older and most of the pages were missing - not to mention the scrabbles and torn pieces. The place was like book graveyard. Too bad.

This library has its ups and downs. It's small, but has a decent collection of recently published books. I grew up going to this library, so it's an old favorite.I'd love to give them 5 STARS because:The two workers I've met there who were incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful were gentlemen. If you need help and see a man at the Information Desk or the front desk, you'll find what you're looking for. They deserve 1 STAR because:There were a couple of times when I met with completely rude service. Once, when I wanted to renew some books I had checked out, the two women helping me complained noisily about the number of books I had checked out. I'm sorry, I enjoy reading and needed those books for work references. One of them didn't even know how to renew only certain books, so I told her to just renew them all at once if it was easier. She just told me I couldn't renew them any more.Another time when I asked for a book from a woman at the Information Desk, she told me to use the internet catalog. Why? Because she was too busy looking up houses and browsing the internet during work hours to help a customer.I hope that this library seriously reviews their employees soon.
