My daughter was receiving services from an associate at this establishment, we switched locations to be there because we were informed that we would use our insurance to cover the services. We have discontinued services for months at this point and we were just notified that we have an outstanding balance of $900 to pay. They did not receive prior authorization to treat my daughter before starting her services, nor did they share that information with us. I can only assume that they sent in the claims only to find that the insurance would not pay out on services without an authorization and now they find it entirely appropriate to place their billing error on us. I had to send them a copy of the 2021 service provider handbook highlighting the area where it states that obtaining prior authorization is the service providers responsibility, they tried to say it was our responsibility to obtain authorization though I do not see how as we are not contracted to submit requests for auth with the insurance company. They can also receive a 10% or more payment reduction for submitting a claim without any prior authorization. But instead of accepting that, they would like to make us pay in full for their error.
