Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fresno Northwest-Herndon, an IHG Hotel

Stopped here for one night, traveling with husband and our kiddo. It was off a whim, we were tired and needed a place to stop. This did not disappoint, rooms were nice and clean, front desk was very nice and helpful getting a room right away. Breakfast was decent and theres even a Starbucks right next door for a coffee pick up before hitting the road. Will keep this place in mind for our next trip, 5 out 5 for the hospitality.

Easy access of hwy 99. Didn't interact with front desk service but place is clean and rooms are new. Recommended for the price.

This location doesn't seem to be up to bar with all the other HIE that I frequent. Ice maker 1st floor inoperable. The bathroom had no vent, was extremely humid. Shower drain extremely slow to drain water. No coffee in the evening (was told it is no longer required) maybe not required, but I sure enjoy coffee in the evenings. Just didn't seem like a good location like other HIE

Edit: have to stay in this hotel again. INTERNET IS STILL JUST AS SLOW The Internet speeds brings this place from a 4 to a 1. Staff is great but a lan connection of my laptop yields a 2 Mbps download speed. I'm waiting for webpages to load...it feels like I'm back in 2004 with this Internet speed

This was overall the nicest stay I've had, in a Holiday Inn or Holiday Inn Express. Much more like staying at a Hilton Home2 or better. Im not sure why this one was better or maybe they have upped their game across all of the HIE locations. Nothing amazing happaned with room, services or comfort but it was really nice. Maybe next time amazing will happen and I can give it five stars. And there will be a next time, I'm pleased to say.
