Ive had the pleasure of working with Bridge Home Health for a little over a year now and am constantly amazed. From the company culture to our clinicians to how much everyone genuinely cares about patient care. I consider myself very lucky to be able to do what I love everyday with Bridge Home Health. If you are looking for quality Home Healthcare, I highly recommend Bridge.

If there was an option to not click on a single star I would have been more satisfied. I'm incredibly disappointed in the poor communication and LACK of service that this agency offers. When someone is discharged from a medical setting to home the expectation is that the agency not only communicate efficiently but also provide the service they were referred for in a timely manner. To go one entire week without a visit is unacceptable. I would strongly discourage any type of affiliation with this less than credible company. Take my word...it's not my first encounter with them. Their lack of ability to serve the community speaks for itself as they continue to build themselves a BRIDGE for poor reputation.

I began services for my father with Bridge Home Care months ago after he was referred by his social worker at the Hospital. I have waited to post my review since there was a lot going on between hospital Managment calls, investigations, and changing services. I requested my father to be seen by another agency called Healthy Living and they refused saying that my father was only accepted by Bridge Home Care. To start off, I waited for two hours for the nurse to arrive at the time they said they would be coming to my fathers home. After two hours, I called their office and was told that the nurse was not scheduled to see him that day but another day. They called the nurse and found out she accidentally called her wrong patient schedule for the day and failed to call me back to let me know if the error on her part. I had to beg my supervisor to let me come in late already for the appointment, then I had to beg her again for the correct date! I was told by the office when I called that this was not a serious problem and that I shouldnt be so upset. I called Healthy Living and they told me they DID accept my father for care! But that the social worker told them I said I wanted Bridge Home Care! I didnt ever tell them that! Im very suspicious as to why the social worker would force my father to use a company that I wasnt requesting! She even told me that my father requested Bridge Home Care. My father has Alzheimers and doesnt even know what home health care is! I told her He doesnt know the difference between one company to the next. The social worker said then it shouldnt be a problem using bridge home care. I filed a complaint against the social worker at the hospital with Managment who did a formal investigation and found out this social worker has been doing this countless times to many families using Bridge Home Care and was counseled about the issue and will be investigating further for possible exchanges of gifts for referrals and that their hospital wouldnt tolerate such actions by any of their employees or vendors. Since they placed him unnecessarily with bridge, its been a fight to get them to get the order to let my father switch to Healthy Living, I would like to know if this is normal for an agency to basically hold a patient hostage when they want to leave? I finally spoke to Managment with bridge home care who was trying to persuade me to keep my father on services, this was until she was reviewing his chart and I could hear another person in the background say oh, hes not even Medicare. At this point, the managed said they would be happy to get the referral sent over to healthy living. My father has now been with healthy living at home and receiving astonishing care from the nurses and therapist who come to see him for the past month. My sister and I are very happy with the care he is now receiving! Garret Jones
