        My wife and I mostly just widow shop here when we take evening walks and the store is closed. They have lots of fascinating items; not so much necessities as things that just make life more beautiful. The other day I went in for the first time and walked out with a new friend: a finger puppet that fits nicely in my jacket pocket. 5 stars because its a pretty nice little store.

However, we can assure you most of our goods cannot be found at Target because they are predominantly handmade and are all verified Fair Trade items. Unfortunately, the items you find at Target that may resemble some of our goods are mainly mass manufactured and the workers are not compensated fairly.       We're so glad you enjoy our store!Being that we are a fair trade store, the items we carry sometimes may seem like they are at a higher cost, but that is because the artisans making the products are being paid at a fair price and not being exploited to make goods at the lowest cost. We do not give a percentage back to artisans, but all of the artisans are paid up front and fairly for their work and they do not wait on items being sold to be paid.Additionally, we are a non-profit, so any profits made in a calendar year get reinvested into helping to grow the store, so we can support more artisans.If you are interested in learning more about fair trade practices, you can visit: https://www.fairtradefederation.org/fair-trade-federation-principles/Thanks!
