This is literally the worst place you could go if you were in crisis. If you think about maybe you wanna go here, first: They lie to you. They abuse you verbally. They yell at you. They kick you out for no reason. They dont provide any of the services they say they provide. They breach contract first then claimed you breached contract. They dont tolerate grievances. You will be kicked out if you complain. You will get kicked out if you use skills like assertive communication and healthy boundaries that they literally teach you while youre there in the program. They will constantly tell you one thing then change their mind. They are flaky and unreliable. Its a 6-month commitment program and they will force you to drop out of school and quit work in order to attend. They will get you evicted or kicked out of whatever current housing your in. They will not let you leave even though they claim everything is voluntary, and they deface your property and damage your property even though they say they dont allow it to happen. Overall, coming here was the stupidest mistake Ive ever made and if I have one regret it will be this place. Pray to god you dont get Carla as a therapist because if you do, just know that every single one of her clients has been suddenly kicked out of the program for no good reason.

Although there is good feedback on other reviews, note that all of it is before Keegan Davis left the previous house manager. These are the conditions that house was ran under Tina White. Also shortly after I left within days there was a mass exodus of clinical staff. At their rehab house located at 7247 N Laval Ave (Laval House) there was a medical staff member who would hugely overstep boundaries named Tony. She made the stay incredibly uncomfortable and if I was in a poorer emotional state I think I would have been greatly damaged inside and require therapy from it. She would attempt to be a stickler to the rules to a near fault where it made it feel like a institution than a place of rehabilitation. However, the problem being that she would frequently make up her own rules in an unhinged way. Proudly would never disclose her "government name", although it was available on some of the paper work I wish I would have caught it to remove any chance of plausible deniability. Lastly, has made female residential intakes uncomfortable because they present as a man and have extended the full body search that is conducted upon intake.

Originally was recommended this program by my psychiatrist for its "top notch CBT lessons" in lieu of my personal therapist who was, according to my psychiatrist, a " useless vent session". I have been recommended here twice now and both times the lessons that I had wanted to learn had turned into vent sessions about issues that didn't apply to my lifestyle and mental illness. I often would go to my sessions dreading having to listen to a vent that did not apply to the subject at hand. Worst part is the therapists would feed into this instead of trying to stay on topic. When I brought up the issues in a polite manner when the therapist was asking for constructive criticism about the way things are done, I was told by the therapist that my opinion of learning the subjects at hand was "invalidating" and I was basically muscled out of the group by both the patrons and therapists. After that, I quit going. Apparently only some opinions matter here!Basically, if you want to go to a place where not doing the work and venting whenever people feel like it instead of learning how to make life better, this place is for you! But if you want to learn useful techniques on how to control your stress and emotions, just stick to a personal therapist, cause you're not going to get that here. Don't waste your time.

Sierra Meadows is the best behavioral health treatment facility in the valley. They are able to provide all levels of care. The inpatient and outpatient treatment facilities are staffed by licensed professionals with years of experience. The staff here connect with and genuinely care about each person in their program. We are lucky to have this resource right here in Fresno County.
