Mount Valley Montessori

I can't even express how much I appreciate the school and the staff here at Learning Kids Montessori. My son didn't speak before coming to this school. Now he has graduated and knows how to count in different languages also knows how to use sign language. He knows his states and learned about different cultures. It's truly been a blessing. They opened up my son and now is talking like crazy. He's learned so much I can't even say in one paragraph. I recommend this place to everyone and anyone. The staff is amazing.

Our child was pinched in the ear multiple times by the ladybug teacher. At first we didn't believe it given that teacher's experience, but when our child repeatedly told us(she is very communicative for her age, that time 3) about that incident, we decided to take the matter to the school administration. The administration was supportive, they enquired our child in our presence and when our child freaked out and crawled to us just on the sight of that teacher, they realized the gravity of the situation. They immediately transferred her to Butterfly class(Ms.Sahar who used to run butterfly class is such a nice person) from Ladybug class. We were happy with the resolution at that time, but we also were shocked to see that no disciplinary action was taken against the ladybug teacher. We also decided to pull our child out two weeks after this incident to prevent any potential traumatic experience. Even now, she can recollect the incident and gets scared on recollection. The administrators and directors are passionate and supportive and most of the teachers are really good, so we didn't want to report this incident to the authorities giving the benefit of the doubt, but for the sake of other kids, would really love to see some added scrutiny and training and stricter policies for teachers, especially for those in the lower age classes.Also, as a side, they did overcharge us for a month citing covid closures(e-check conveniently withdrawn without our permission) but haven't refunded yet(it's been two years since) despite multiple communications.

We enrolled our kid in a preschool program.LKM is very organized, friendly and professional on the reminders of school activities. School premises is very beautiful, spacious, clean environment and follows all safety guidelines to keep children safe. Ms. Ashi is very responsible in answering all the questions.My daughter loves this school, teachers (Ms. Vandana and Ms. Vimala) and friends. She loves the art work teachers are assisting with. My daughter is always in a happy mode when we pick her up and starts explaining things she has done for that day.  We highly recommend Learning Kids Montessori and we are glad that our daughter is part of this school and their programs.

I'm sending two kids to Learning Kids, the older boy started at he was 2, at that time he was so shy, with language problem had a difficult time but now he and his little sister are very happy and they like the school and teachers, Ms Rafi and all others.. My kids know all of them by name and are happy with them. The caring. I think they take good care of kids and high standard of safety. Even when if I feel something wrong, it's still easy to talk with teachers. This is very important for now because of COVID we parents cannot come into the school, the good conversation makes me feel better. The curriculum is academic focused, I think. Surprisingly my kids enjoy studying.. My friend told me how her son is enjoying study too. I guess they're very good at encouraging kids. Another remarkable point is they have the monthly topic to learn and that gives kids opportunity to widen their experience. These topics have a lot of variety from animals, plants to community, planets... My kids are very interested and they always talk about what they learned. For the culture and background, I can see many Indian culture related things and events but they also have American celebration and other international events. This is good for kids to understand the world. Overall this school great. They're improving their quality a lot. Day by day, my kids will face difficult times as a child but improving quality helps them being happy and growing.
