We had Koch and Associates build a beautiful free stack rock wall on our rural property in Fremont. They installed lighting within the wall as well as steps. We are more than satisfied with the end result.

We couldn't be happier with the work that Koch & Associates did for us in our front yard. We've lived in our house for 5 years now and the front yard needed help. It was full of boxwoods that were not doing well. I googled several different landscape/design companies in the area and Koch & Associates were the first one's to respond to my request. I could tell from their website that they really knew what they were doing. I felt like they could deliver the specific look for the front yard that my wife was looking for (country garden). I had two initial phone consultations with Paul, who walked me through their process and asked questions. He gave some valuable suggestions about our project. We met Paul in person a few weeks later and we were able to walk him through what we were looking. He took measurements of our entire front and delivered a completed plan a few weeks later. We made a few small tweaks to the plan, but we loved it right away and were really excited. Work started the last week of June and took about two weeks. We were thoroughly impressed with the crew of gentlemen they sent out to complete the work. They were all friendly, helpful and easy to talk to. Most of all, they were very respectful of our property. Every day they took their time cleaning everything up before they left. We really appreciated that. I also have to mention that Garrett and Rosa were key in keeping everything moving along smoothly. Rosa kept us updated on upcoming deadlines and schedules and Garret kept the crew running smoothly. They both always had answers whenever I had questions. I would have to say that this is the first time that work has been done at our house and there were no surprises, issues or headaches to deal with. Everything ran very smoothly. We are incredibly happy with the outcome and would highly recommend working with Koch & Associates on your job.

We had Koch & Associates redo our backyard landscaping and we are super thrilled with the results. We met with Doug in late 2022 and were looking for suggestions on how best to remodel our backyard. We knew we wanted our old deck demolished and the large grass lawn replaced with pavers. Doug and his team understood our requirements and came up with very detailed plans on how we could achieve our goals. Work started in late January, Their team of master carpenters did a superb job of building a large, custom Trex deck. They were highly professional in their work and meticulous in their daily cleanup. This work was followed by the paver team who also did a great job of the large paver section despite the heavy rains that slowed things down. Garrett did an excellent job of supervising this work and was very creative in coming up with solutions to unexpected problems along the way. At the end of the project, we had a wonderfully new transformed backyard with a lovely deck, a large paver section, some artificial grass, a new drip irrigation system, a renovated retaining wall. Most of all, the Koch team is to be credited for their excellent customer relationship. It was very easy to deal with them and they were diligent in keeping us appraised at every step. Kudos to Doug, Garrett, Paul, Martin, Rosa and the very competent workmen! We had an incredible experience with the Koch Team! From our initial consultation with the owner to the final walk through after the project completion, our expectations were surpassed. When we moved into our home, we inherited a rotting redwood deck and a sea of concrete driveway. We needed help rethinking the space so we could safely use it and clearly demarcate the driveway from the patio. The design presented was gorgeous and functional (and nothing we could have come up with on our own). Because Koch and Associates own both the design and installation, nothing in the drawings was lost in translation. Throughout the project, our Project Manager Garrett was in constant communication with us and set our expectations. The crew was there everyday, unless the weather was inclement, and in that case, we were notified in advance. The attention to detail didn't go unnoticed - drainage, lighting, irrigation, appropriate plants, materials, colors, views - all and more were considered when redesigning our backyard. What a pleasure it was to work with Rosa in the office, too. She helped make sure we understood when payments were due and what documents needed to be signed. We actually enjoyed the process of having our backyard re-done...I just wish the Koch Team did kitchens and bathrooms, too!
